About AVALOFT, INC

Avaloft, Inc. Founder and President Matt Freeman started designing and building solutions for lifestyles in Oak Park, Illinois in 1993. Since then, his singular craft and philosophy have transformed how people perceive living at home.

Rather than simply make general areas to live in, he creates spaces that adapt to the ways that people live. With less division and compartmentalization among spaces and rooms, an Avaloft design brings people together with a warming sense of community.

The company’s diverse projects include designing, building and managing projects in custom home remodeling, new home construction and commercial development.

In 2005, Matt joined the Board of Directors of Community First, a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization dedicated to compatible architecture for redevelopment.
